The Tontons
The Tontons don't have a readily available mainstream band to make an off-the-cuff comparison, so in this space we won't tell you they sound like Indie Flavor Of The Week or Noted And Weighty Classic Rock Name. The Tontons simply sound like the Tontons. That sounds like false bluster, but anyone who has been tracking them since 2008 will tell you the same thing. Up front is Asli Omar, that vocal vixen who can make men and rock nerds alike quake in their boots. Bassist Tom Nguyen, whose rumble forms the dermis of the band and then them boys Adam and Justin Martinez come in with titanic guitars and drums to make sure you are still moving your feet. This is a band that has been fully embraced by their native Houston, and the Tontons have hugged the city back with relentless gigging around town, and now it's time for the world to get some love from The Tontons.

Okey Dokey
Led by Tennesseean, Aaron Martin, and Texan Johny Fisher, Okey Dokey may be the most unexpected band ever to come from Nashville, a city never quite known for its genre benders. The band cleverly combines the hand-me-down hits of your parents' time with their own synth driven expansions of modern psychedelia. Martin and Fisher began collaborating in the winter of 2016, recording in a bedroom with guitars, synthesizers, computers, and practically anything they could find lying around the house. Over the next few months, they collaborated with various friends, most of whom are members from other bands, to create what became their debut album. "Love You, Mean It" was released in January 2017, and, even though the duo had no plans to perform live, they were on tour by March.

The year was pleasantly unexpected, and kept the band busy. The time away from Nashville helped define how little of it there actually is, and any day home was a day to write. With help from folks like Rayland Baxter, Nick Bockrath (Cage The Elephant), Liz Cooper, Caleb Hickman (Houndmouth), Erin Rae McKaskle, Katie Schecter and others, the band wrapped up production on their sophomore album late that December. “Tell All Your Friend” is an insightfully crafted album, blending bedroom pop, chillwave and phych soul and is set for release in 2018.

Blank Range
Blank Range is an American rock band based in Nashville, Tennessee. Blank Range has been touring with the likes of Tyler Childers and Margo Price in support of their debut album, Marooned With The Treasure, since it was released in August of 2017.

Andrew James
Andrew James is a singer-songwriter from Houston whose career has already taken him around the world. Whether playing for stadium crowds or intimate house shows, he's at home on the stage. Often a meditation on love and loss, Andrew's music reflects the diversity of his influences from songwriters of every genre. He's shared the stage with such greats as Gin Blossoms, Radney Foster, Marc Broussard, and Sean McConnell, and his song "Broken Now" has received placements on MTV and beyond. Andrew's new album "Shoreline" is out now.
